Dr. Jane Tuvia has over fifteen years of experience in the field of mammography, breast biopsies, and women's imaging. In 2001 she opened her private practice in order to provide very personal care to women in a timely, compassionate, comfortable, and highly professional manner. She works with many of the most prominent breast surgeons in New York City.
She is a board certified radiologist with years of experience and expertise in women’s imaging. She attended medical school in Be’er Sheva, Israel, and then completed her residency in New York at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in both Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. She is board certified in both of the above specialties.
Dr. Tuvia’s career has been focused on women’s imaging. She was Director of Breast Imaging at North Central Bronx Hospital as well as Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, and was Assistant Professor of Radiology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine when she held both of the above positions. Subsequently, she directed the section of breast imaging in a private practice in Queens, until opening her office in 2001. |
